New Cars 3 trailer!



It’s only a few months until Cars 3 opens in cinemas, and Disney have revealed a little bit more about Lightning McQueen’s latest adventure in a new trailer. The movie opens in the UK on July 14th and in the US on June 16.


Let it go? Only 944 days until Frozen 2 comes to cinemas!



Disney must surely win the prize for most organised movie studio, as they have announced the release dates for all their major Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and Disney animation movies, not just for the rest of 2017, but for 2018, 2019 and 2020 as well.


So if you are eagerly awaiting the young Han Solo movie, the next Avengers blockbuster or Indiana Jones (And The Zimmer Frame?), check out the list below for the US release schedule (UK dates are usually the same or within a week or two) :

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2: the European premiere



Last night (Monday 24th April), the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London, played host to the European premiere of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2.

Baby Groot In Space!

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 opens in UK cinemas this Friday (April 28) and US cinemas on May 5th, and to celebrate the UK release, a dancing Groot toy has been launched into space!

Hasbro’s toy was launched in Lincolnshire using a weather balloon filled with helium and during his (its?) 2hr 41 minute flight, little Groot reached an altitude of 34,572 metres (21.5 miles).

Ballerina activity sheet and DVD release!


The hit animated movie Ballerina is available on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital Download from today (Monday 17th April) in the UK (courtesy of Entertainment One), and to celebrate the release, Movies4Kids has an activity sheet for Ballerina fans to enjoy.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi – first trailer and poster!!!!


Star Wars: The Last Jedi – aka Episode VIII – will be in cinemas around the world from December 15th, and Movies4Kids is extremely excited to share the first poster, and the first trailer! The action carries on from The Force Awakens, so could the poster be hinting of a major showdown between Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren? Only eight months to wait until we find out…!




Jude Law IS Dumbledore!


Warner Brothers have just announced some terrific casting news – Jude Law will take on the role of a young Albus Dumbledore in the next Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them movie.

The sequel to Fantastic Beasts… will show us Dumbledore long before he became the headmaster at Hogwarts, though he is employed there as the school’s Transfiguration professor. JK Rowling will once again be writing the script for the movie, which will begin filming in the summer. David Yates, who made the final four Harry Potter films as well as Fantastic Beasts… will direct, and we’ll have more casting news as soon as it is announced!
