The latest Diary Of A Wimpy Kid movie, based on the book The Long Haul, comes to UK cinemas on 20th May (19th May in US). It’s the fourth movie based on the books by Jeff Kinney, but fans will notice a little change – The Long Haul has an entirely new cast, partly because Zachary Gordon (who played Greg in the first three movies) is now 19 years old.

It’s the third Wimpy Kid movie directed by David Bowers, so expect the same mix of fun and school boy angst as Greg and his brother Roderick convince their parents (now played by Alicia Silverstone and Tom Everett Scott) to go on a road trip to their grandmother’s 90th birthday – although they secretly plan on attending a video game convention instead.
