RIP Bill Paxton

Very sad news today – actor Bill Paxton has died, aged 61. While he is best known for roles in “grown-up” movies, from Aliens (“Game over, man. Game over!”) and the superb vampire movie Near Dark to memorable performances in Tombstone, Apollo 13, Titanic and Twister, Bill also appeared in a few kids’ films. He was Dinky Winks in two of the Spy Kids films and Jeff Tracy in the live action Thunderbirds movie, but the role that is our favourite has to be his lead performance in the adorable Mighty Joe Young.
