Get ready for Christmas with this new Sing clip!

While lucky Americans get to see the terrific new animated comedy Sing before Christmas (it opens in the US on December 21st), in the UK we will have to wait until 27th January. To make that wait a little bit more bearable, check out this seasonal clip to get you in the holiday spirit!

Sing features the voices of Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson, Reece Witherspoon and Taron Egerton, as theatre owner Buster Moon tries to save his beloved theatre by holding a singing competition. Check out the latest trailer, below:

The Movies4Kids Christmas Gift Guide

It’s just over a month until Christmas, and with Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year, just days away, it’s also time for the Movies4Kids gift guide! Here are some suggestions for presents for the movie-going fans in your life:

Star Wars Crochet £19.99

Make your own stormtrooper or Yoda with this How To guide that comes complete with wool, stuffing, eyes and crochet hooks for making those two characters, as well as instructions for how to make 10 other Star Wars crochet figures, including Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Jabba the Hutt.

Back To The Future Monopoly £34.99; from £29.99

You can get every type of Monopoly imaginable, from Game Of Thrones to Spongebob Squarepants, but top of our Christmas list this year is the Back To The Future version. Instead of Chance and Community Chest cards, you get Past and Future ones, and the places on the board encompass all the sites Marty McFly visited in the movies, from Doc’s Lab to the Clock Tower and Café 80s. Best of all, the pieces include the DeLorean and Marty’s famous self-tying sneaker!

Fantastic Beasts Pop Vinyl: Niffler £10.99

Funko’s Pop Vinyl characters are all cute and collectable, but this Christmas’s must have for fans of JK Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is surely the adorable Niffler. Though a cute little Newt Scarmander would be nice, too…

Sing Soundtrack £13.99

You won’t be able to see Sing the movie until it comes to cinemas on January 27th in the UK (December 21st in US), but the soundtrack is well worth buying in advance for some musical deliciousness. It’s released on December 9th in the UK, and December 16th in the US and features songs performed by stars Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Tori Kelly, and Taron Egerton.

The Art Of Aardman £8.49

Fans of Wallace and Gromit, Shaun The Sheep and Chicken Run will love this book from Aardman Animation that celebrates 40 years of the studio. The book features a foreword from founders Peter Lord and David Sproxton, and extracts from the sketchbooks of some of the talented artists and directors who have brought the famous characters to life.

Christmas DVDs, prices vary

There have been some terrific movies in 2016 that are now on DVD and would make perfect gifts, from Kung Fu Panda 3 to Zootropolis, Eddie The Eagle, The Jungle Book and Finding Dory and you can find reviews of all of them at If you have little ones in the house already counting the days until Santa comes, treat them to an early DVD treat – Danger Mouse Merry Christmouse, a DVD and digital download featuring seven episodes from the new Danger Mouse animated series, including a Christmas double episode called The Snowman Cometh.

Poppy Styling Troll £29.99

Little fans of the movie Trolls will love this Poppy doll that comes with hair combs and accessories so you can style her pink hair. And if you have a little one who is completely in love with Poppy, you can also get slippers, bedding, pyjamas and even in-line skates with her image on.

Moana Singing And Light Up Snow Globe £65

Disney Animation’s latest movie Moana arrives in cinemas on December 2nd with a host of toys including singing Moana and Maui dolls (we quite like the idea of squeezing The Rock in the belly and hearing him sing), cuddly toys and mugs. For collectors, however, the must-have tie-in is the Moana snow globe, featuring Moana, Maui, Pua the pig and chicken Hei Hei. The water lights up and the globe plays the song ‘We Know The Way’.

Prices correct at time of going to press.

For US readers, all items except Danger Mouse DVD are available for sale via
