All are available at, from £3.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making Of Harry Potter: Hogwarts In The Snow

The wonderful Harry Potter studio tour in Leavesden (near Watford, Herts) is a must-see for any Harry Potter fan, but until 31st January 2016 it is even more amazing. Visitors will be able to see iconic sets from the Harry Potter series decorated for the festive season, with Christmas trees lining the Great Hall, and a blanket of snow covering the Hogwarts castle model (visitors will also be able to touch samples of the different types of fake snow used in the making of the movies). The Goblet of Fire has been rigged by FX experts so it is lit by flames that change from blue to red, and there are many more thrilling things to see including the Diagon Alley set, Dumbledore’s office and the tour’s newest attraction, Platform 9 ¾, featuring the Hogwarts Express locomotive train.

Tickets (from £33 per adult) must be booked in advance ( or you can treat someone with special gift tickets by clicking HERE.

The Princess Bride Playing Cards

The Princess Bride is one of Movies4Kids favourite movies, so high on our Christmas list this year is a pack of Princess Bride playing cards, featuring all our favourite characters from the 1987 classic movie including Miracle Max, Inigo Montoya and Vizzini. A pack of cards is £12.99 from Firebox ( and you can also choose from The Goonies and Ghostbusters packs, too.

Back To The Future 2 Marty McFly Hat

It was, of course, the 30th anniversary of the release of Back To The Future this year, and what better way to celebrate than sporting a replica of the futuristic hat Marty wears when he goes to the future in Part 2? The hat is £24.99 from Forbidden Planet ( and the store also has lots of other Back To The Future gifts including BTTF Monopoly (coming soon), models of the DeLorean car and even a replica of Mr Fusion, that turns garbage into energy (a steal at £349.99)!

Pop Vinyl

Another Movies4Kids favourite, Pop Vinyl characters are black-eyed vinyl figurines that have become collectables and are available for just about every TV show and movie you can think of. Adults may want Walter White from Breaking Bad, Jamie Fraser from Outlander, Shaun Of The Dead (complete with baseball bat) or Daenerys from Game Of Thrones, while kids can choose from Groot from Guardians Of The Galaxy, Elsa from Frozen, Star Wars’ Boba Fett or The Hobbit’s Bilbo to name just a few. The figures cost from around £9 and are available from Amazon and Forbidden Planet.

The Good Dinosaur Roarin’ River Game

Disney Pixar’s latest animated movie is the adorable story of a dinosaur named Arlo and his human friend Spot. Once your kids have seen the film they’ll no doubt want a cuddly Arlo of their own, and if you’ve got little kids (aged 4 and over) they’ll enjoy this board game in which you help Arlo and his friends outrun the flooding river. The game is £9.99 from Toys R Us.

Snoopy And Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie – Snoopy’s Grand Adventure

To tie in with the release of the new Snoopy Movie on Decembe 21st, there is a computer fame for kids called Snoopy’s Grand Adventure, available for the Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Aimed at kids aged three and over, the game sends you on an adventure where you get to help Snoopy, Charlie Brown and their friends through a colourful platform game made up of six different worlds. The game is available in all formats from Amazon, priced from £25.

Star Wars Bluetooth Speakers

It’s the biggest film of the year, so it’s no surprise that Star Wars: The Force Awakens boasts enough spin-off merchandise to fill a large Death Star. There’s Lego sets, of course, figures, mugs, t-shirts, posters, Monopoly, a book of Origami (fold your own TIE fighter!) and even lightsaber chopsticks. Check out the Firebox website, though, for our favourite – Star Wars Bluetooth speakers. Choose from the Millennium Falcon, a Star Destroyer or Red TIE fighter, price £49.99 each. And, ahem, may the force be with you.

91POJ56V8gL._SL1500_Zoomer Dino: Indominus Rex

Zoomer Dino is the latest must-have toy – a chomping robot dinosaur that reacts to hand movements and can also be controlled by remote control. Of course, you could buy the regular Zoomer Dino, but wouldn’t you rather have the collectible Indominus Rex, based on the genetically created dinosaur from this year’s Jurassic World? The RRP is £99 (gulp) but we have spotted it for £69 on some toy websites.

Stuart the Minion Night Light

The Minions was one of the big hits of the summer for kids, and there are numerous toys and other merchandise based on those cuddly yellow creatures in shops now. Our favourite – this colour changing night light for little minion fans that comes in either Stuart or Dave size! Price approximately £9 from Amazon.
