If you’re in London on Saturday 19th September, you may want to check out what’s going on in Leicester Square. To celebrate the release of Pan (in cinemas from 16th October), the West End square is being turned into Neverland for the day.
The event is free and the garden at the centre of the square will be transformed with foliage and tents housing fun for the family ranging from Blackbeard’s Pirate Training Tent (a pirate school, face painting, map and telescope making and, of course, temporary pirate tattoos) to Tiger Lily’s Kingdom (making fairy wings, makeovers) and Pan’s Warrior Tent (drumming lessons, musical crafts etc).
There will also be the Jolly Roger Stage in the centre of the square, made to look like the deck of the famous pirate ship and featuring live performances throughout the day.

The live action adventure Pan, which tells the origin stories of JM Barrie’s famous characters including Peter (Levi Miller), James Hook (Garrett Hedlund) and pits them against pirate Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) is released on 16th October and you can check out the trailer below.
