Kevin Bacon – Footloose Hero!

Here at Movies4Kids we love Kevin Bacon. He was the first actor I ever interviewed as a journalist (for a cool little movie called The Big Picture, when I was just 19) and while some of his movies may be a bit grown up for the Movies4Kids website, we do feature reviews of Balto (he provided the voice), My Dog Skip, X-Men First Class and, of course, that teen classic Footloose (which deservedly has a four star rating!)

It’s actually 30 years this year since Footloose was first released, and to commemorate that, Mr Bacon – now, of course, starring in the TV series The Following – appeared on The Tonight Show, and paid a hilarious, brilliant tribute to the movie that made him a star.

You have to watch this, it is superb.

Thanks Kevin!

Party on, Dude! Happy 25th Anniversary Bill & Ted!

It’s a jaw-dropping 25 years since the bodacious, triumphant and very excellent Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure was first released in cinemas, and to celebrate it has been re-released on Blu-Ray in a special Steelbook anniversary edition, featuring the original trailer, a Making Of documentary, and an episode from the Bill & Ted animated series.

You can read the Movies4Kids review here, and revisit one of the silliest, most excellent movies of the eighties by watching the clip below.

Party on, dudes!

Cutest trailer of the year alert! It’s Paddington…

We have to wait until November for the new Paddington movie, based on the beloved books about the bear from deepest, darkest Peru. But in the meantime, check out this cute trailer – if the movie is half as adorable it’ll be well worth the wait:
