The Movies4Kids family Christmas gift list!

There are just 15 shopping days to Christmas, but there’s still time to get some cool gifts for the family. Here are just some of our suggestions:

It’s the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, and if you’ve got a fan in the house they probably already have a toy tardis, sonic screwdriver or talking dalek. But have they got a t-shirt based on one of the Doctor’s iconic costumes? (£16.99 each,

One of the big movies of the Christmas holidays is, of course, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. You could buy a Tolkein fan the book, or the first movie on DVD… or you could get them this plush Gandalf! (£8.99, And there’s a scary Gollum, too…

Or if it’s a Hobbit fan you really, really want to treat this Christmas – how about getting them their very own Hobbit hole home? It’s a snip at $2225, but the make-at-home houses are currently only available in the US at

Movies4Kids’ favourite seasonal movie of the moment is Frozen and since it’s a Disney movie you can be sure there are lots of tie-in toys. Little girls will love the Elsa and Anna dolls while little boys can ask for a cuddly snowman Olaf. Prices from £16.99 for the dolls (there are colour-changing ones for £19.99 and singing ones for £30) and £6.99 for Olaf,

Fans of the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid movies will be after the latest book in the series written by Jeff Kinney – Hard Luck. It’s currently £ on Amazon, and you can pick up a box set of the previous seven books there, too.

Thor fans, meanwhile, can pick up their own Asgaardian hammer, complete with light and sound effects (apparently the hammer head itself is soft, which is probably a good thing since the toy is aimed at kids five and over) for £27.99 at Amazon, but we think younger kids will  be more impressed with the Despicable Me 2 Fart Blaster that lights up and makes realistic fart sounds! From £30, also at Amazon.

Of course, there are lots of new DVDs in the shops, too. They’re all reviewed over at Movies4Kids, and here are just some of the ones everyone will be adding to their Christmas lists:

Happy shopping!!!!
